Replying Your Visitors Comments on WP

Just wanted to share few tips & tricks since a lot of people seem to ask about it often in the Ask Me page. This is how I reply your comments in my blog. I actually do it manually, there is no special forms.

First, open your theme folder and edit your comments.php.
Add this inside the comment loop just before <?php endforeach; ?>

<?php edit_comment_link(__("Edit This")); ?>

Next, edit your theme’s css and add the following… (you can edit and add more to this as your liking).

.crep {
padding: 1px;
color:#000000;
background-color:#FFFFFF;
border:solid 1px #000000;
}

Last, open one of your posts. Whenever you wanna reply any of the comments, just click on the edit link. Add your reply just under their comment (in the same box) like this… And then save it. Tadaaa it’s done.

Other platform users, you can use this tips too… well at least until they make its own special feature to reply comments. Btw, turut berduka cita atas kepulangan Inggris. Semangat lagi ya!

    alo sheil… aku ga punya space sendiri, sheil, that’s why i’m interested with blogsome. Ada sih… space yg dikasih ama uni, tp kalo pake itu, ntar kalo dah lulus, pasti ditutup, jd in that case mesti pindahan lg.

    Oooh kirain hehe. Buat free platform, aku juga lebih prefer Blogsome. Fitur2nya lebih banyak, bisa protect posts, dan keliatannya lebih rapih. Jadi kalo mo pindahan, tak dukung deh jij. Hehehe.
