I’m Here…
Thanks sooo much for all of your birthday wishes! Thanks sooo much for each of comments you posted on my previous entry, I’ve read them all. Thanks sooo much for keep coming back to my blog even tho I haven’t been around lately. Thanks sooo much Marie for your special posting just to wish me a happy birthday, hehe… and Zahira for your E-Card, Kak Tina for your special gift, K Tiesmin for your email, Ko Upar and Belutz for your messages, Ricorea for… “only-us-and-God-knows-what” 
I treasure them all.
I was out of town for a week, doing a research with my campus in Sukabumi (about 4 hours from Jakarta). I was planning to write the whole story about the research, but at my last day there I got a call from my Dad telling me a bad news that we’ve had lost our beloved cousin Baron, he suffered from Malaria Tropica and he couldn’t make it after 5 days being sick.
I can’t describe how my heart was broken at that time and how hard I had to try not to show it to my friends. For these last few days our family has been occupied taking care of his funeral and services.
Baron, is one of my closest cousin, he’s 4 years older than me. We grew up together, and I used to live at his house when I was in kindergarten and in my first few years in elementary. He always picked me up after school with his bike. We always played together, playing Nintendo in his bedroom, playing kites at his rooftop until our feets got so black, he took me to swim at Ancol, and he even wanted to play dolls and paperdolls with me… He liked to rap with that song “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice and “Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer, and I would do some silly chicken dance with my brother and we would laugh about it. I’m sorry that we didn’t have that much time to spend when we grew older, cus you lived so far away… Baron Enricho Huka, you’re so loved by so many people, but God loves you more. I will never forget every single thing you did for me. Now I must continue my life and I’ll see you there in Heaven when I reach my finish line.
